MARDI GRAS PARADE
SUNDAY,March 6, 2011

We are Registered as a Group, for the Mardi Gras Parade. You may bring as many ferrets as you wish to bring. You will not receive a T-Shirt. If you want one you can buy one for $15.00.   To order one you may email info@galvestonhumane.org

You have to bring with you a copy of your ferret's Rabies Certificate. DO NOT Check In.  The Hummels did the registration, so our name is the contact name. To give everyone enough time to get there I will not check in until 12:15 PM. They keep the Rabies Certificates.  Please get a copy of your ferret's Rabies Certificate to Jimi by that time.  She will Check in for HAFA.

We will be throwing Beads.  Jack & Sherry have paid for these.  If you would like to help pay for the beads you might give Jack or Sherry a couple of bucks.

This is an outdoor event bring, if you have, a Spray Bottle, Ice Pack, Ice Pack Cover, Battery Operated Fan, and a Thin Cloth, all for keeping the ferrets cool.

Directions:
The best way to get here is I-10 E toward Beaumont, exit Lynchburg/Highlands and go left across the freeway at the Stop Sign. Go into Highlands and turn left at Wallisville(by Jack in the Box) and right on Maple (just past the Baptist church) and left on Stratford. You'll see us in the middle of the park.

FERRETS ARE WELCOME
Please read education Guidelines on Message Board

BRING ICE PACKS IN A COOLER FOR THE TRIP HOME. The cars just do not cool down enough. Even with starting them ahead of time. Email us if you need to borrow an ice pack. Our guys just drape themselves over the ice packs. Also bring a spray bottle of water to spray your ferret, if your ferret starts panting.
