Get to TX-288 going South to Lake Jackson/Victoria. Exit TX-288-Business Route South exit toward Angleton/Freeport. Exit to Loop TX-274 on to Velasco St.. Turn Left on W Cedar St.
BRING ICE PACKS IN A COOLER FOR THE TRIP HOME. The cars just do not cool down enough. Even with starting them ahead of time. Email us if you need to borrow an ice pack. Our guys just drape themselves over the ice packs. Also bring a spray bottle of water to spray your ferret if your ferret starts panting.

The best way to get here is I-10 E toward Beaumont, exit Lynchburg/Highlands and go left across the freeway at the Stop Sign. Go into Highlands and turn left at Wallisville(by Jack in the Box) and right on Maple (just past the Baptist church) and left on Stratford. You'll see us in the middle of the park.

La Porte Community Library

The last time we went to the La Porte Library, we had a hundred attendees. If you possibly can come to this library and feel certain we can use your help.
Directions
From Houston: Take 610 Loop toward the South-East. Get off on Highway 225 East toward Pasadena / La Porte. Take 225 to Highway 146 South. Take 146 South toward La Porte. Exit Fairmont Parkway. Make a left onto Fairmont Parkway going East (toward the Bay). Take Fairmont Parkway East to South Broadway St (also called Business 146) Make left onto South Broadway St (Business 146). We are on the left across from La Porte Elementary School about half way down before you reach Main Street.

Bring ANYTHING to sell at Bazaar to raise money (some for yourself, some for the site)! Bring some critters (under a tent for shade) to raise awareness! Lunch together!

DONATE: Treats! Garage Sale stuff! WHatever you want to sell!
(feel free to bring a few things you want to sell that you DON'T want to donate funds to, too)
BRING CRITTERS: Ones who can be outside for a little while (and go in our house for breaks) in the shade. Get the word out and impress the masses. :)

Butler Museum Wild West Show

Ferrets are Welcome! If you can't stay very long that is OK. You are not expected to stay all day. Since this is such a long day feel free to bring as many ferrets as you are comfortable bringing.
We will need to be there between 10:00 - 10:30 to get things set up. This is an outdoor event. Bring a Spray Bottle and if you have any, please bring any portable fans or Ice Packs.
Wild West is the theme. If you wish, you may wear a costume. Jeans, Cowboy hat, shirt, or boots. Of course if you have anything Western for the ferrets to wear please dress them up. People Love to see the ferrets in costume.

Directions:
Take Exit 23 off of I-45. They have changed the exit and it sooner than it use to be. Turn Left under the freeway (from the south turn Right) onto FM 518 (Main St.). You are going towards Kemah. Continue east you cross Hwy 3. Stay on Main St cross over the railroad track. Go Six (6) more blocks. Turn Left on Wisconsin Ave go to the corner of Coryell and find a parking place. We will be close to the Museum building. Ask some one if you can stop long enough to unload your ferrets at our area.
